Just received my projector. Delivery was quick and I am extremely satisfied with the design, picture and sound quality. It's not heavy so it's easy to carry around and the remote control is a plus. I can't wait to use it in my classroom. Only reason for a 4 start is that I have not used the device as yet to get a true feel of it. An overall good purchase.

This projector works great. It is a good size not really small but still portable. easily sets up, can use with roku, chome tv. It is a slick design, speaker that is internal is not super loud but loud enough to hear, fan is not the quietest but not really noisy. Apps can be put through via HDMI connector. Otherwise the projector is bright enough to see in a lit up room but best in a darker room.

This is an OK projector if you set appropriate expectations. It NEEDS to be used in a dark environment for the best viewing experience if you're trying to project 100-120in screen. And I mean dark, like no other lights on in the room at all. If you're going for a smaller screen the image will be brighter of course. The fan is definitely loud and there's nothing you can do about it. You just have to accept it as white noise. There's only one hdmi port. There's not a lot of adjustments to make to the image, but it does have zoom adjustment which is helpful. Let's face it. This is a $50-60 projector and not a $300-500+ projector so it's not going to function like a more expensive unit.

When I was trying a number of cheaper no-name projectors like this a few years ago anything under $100 was pretty much the same deal. Not very bright. Loud. There was often blurring at the edges. So don't expect the world for under $100. That said, for this price it's actually better than some of the cheaper projectors I had tried and I did not notice any blurring at edges. Once focused it seemed pretty sharp all-around which was nice.

I bought this to take along on a beach trip since the house we were staying at seemed to have small tvs in all the rooms. Paired with a cheap fabric screen. This projector can be mounted on a tripod and I had a larger height adjustable tripod I mounted it to. I was able to project 100in image from probably 12ft away and it worked out pretty well. The caveat as mentioned is I could really only use the projector at night. During the day with all the ambient light in the room you couldn't even see an image on the screen. This projector NEEDS a near pitch black environment to look nice. Some light is OK, but it will wash out some of the image. For instance, we had a single light on (under the microwave) about 12ft behind us to the left and even that had washed out the screen some. The darker the better to get the best colors and image.

Bottom line, my expectation was for $55 it solved a problem for my beach trip. I could hook my Wii up to it and play games at night or watch a movie on a larger screen. I'll use this projector outside some to project on a wall in the evening or at night. I have a 1080p Epson I use in my home theater setup and it's MUCH brighter and better in all regards, but it also didn't cost $55. So while I would not suggest using this projector in a main home theater setup, for what it costs it's not too bad for occasional use. Just be aware the fan is loud and it's not very bright to combat a lot of light in the room and you'll be good.

First projector so I can’t compare. The speaker sucks. The video is connected to a Monster unit. Works fine looks good but it’s hard to get adjusted. Bottom and top are fuzzy. I’ll mess with it some more. Probably could have gone with a cheaper one with the same success.

I'm living through renovations & all my furniture is in storage, so I bought this projector instead of buying another tv. Wow, it's impressive. The set up was an easy plug & play. Works great with my firestick & my laptop. I bought an adapter to use with my phone, although I haven't tried it yet. The sound is good enough that I haven't used my BT speaker. The picture is better when the screen size is smaller, but as u can see from the pics... the larger screen size is good., especially considering the low price. Of course the picture is not as good in the daytime but it's adequate. They say you get what you pay for, but as of day one.. I feel like I got more bang for my buck. Hoping I can say the same in a year.

I looked at a bunch of options and finally settled on this one, and I'm not disappointed. I've had it for a year and all is working swell. Of course you can't expect an IMAX experience from a $100 projector, but it gets the job done just fine. I usually use a separate speaker when watching a movie, but the times I have used the built-in speaker it sounds just fine.
I have noticed that the whole image is never totally in focus, so you have to play around with it to find what works for you. But it's good enough for when I watch movies or have a little home presentation.

I give it 4 stars for the difficulty in focus and also because I do think it's a little too noisy.

I really like this projector and everything about it like the sound quality and the video quality and all the features, just two things, 1 being the fan is a little loud but not too loud to the point where it gets annoying since the video audio will cover it mostly anyway, and 2 being that it won’t allow me to play Netflix from my phone. I had to buy the Lightning Digital AV Adapter from Apple which allowed me to watch on other streaming networks like Disney+, Hulu, Peacock, and YouTube, but for some reason it doesn’t allow me to play any shows on Netflix.

I paid $50 for this. It's worth every bit of that what it is. If this was a $300 project, I'd give it one or two stars. This is the lowest point of entry, and I've kept that in mind when reviewing. Just a few comments for those who might be looking for info.

    Keystone:
It Sucks. It only moves vertically - not horizontally - which is OK - but when you apply the keystone, you can't focus both the top/bottom of the screen. If you were watching a movie, it maybe wouldn't matter, but I am using it for a golf sim and I need readable data at the top and bottom of the screen. All it really does is make it a square - but not really a 'usable square'.

    Mount / Screen flip:
I still can't decide if I missed something, but when I inverted the screen (button on the remote) so that I could mount the project upside-down, I ended up with reversed text. As I was messing around, I couldn't tell if I could flip both directions or not -but I mounted it differently and it became a non issue. It might be goofy, just FYI.

    Brightness:
This is the only projector I've ever used at home. If my garage lights are on - You can't see this at all. I'm using it in the dark, and it's fine. Again, I don't expect it to be perfect, but it's definitely OK for the price.

The only other thing that's an annoyance, is that I end up backing out of menu to power off, where you need to confirm. If you don't confirm it turns off, instead if needing to press "another button" to cancel. it's happened a few times, and it just seems like I shouldn't be in the "power off" menu as often as I am. Now that I'm past the point of messing with it, it's less of an issue, but I swear I accidentally turned it off a half dozen times at first.

Prior to purchasing this projector I did a fair amount of research on several websites, including some very informative videos on Youtube, and therefore was well aware of any limitations that this item would bring with it. I agree with much of what was said and discussed on these sites as to the performance of this projector, but for the price it delivers a fairly decent image, albeit a little soft around the edges and definitely best in a very dark environment. I primarily use it to project digital decorations onto a window for Halloween and for the most part the H1 is sufficient for this purpose. In this mode of operaton, for me, the biggest downside is the need to have the projector positioned central to the projected image. Due to the lack of extensive keystone correction, this spoils the hollusion effect a bit as there is no way to conceal the projector as one could do with a much more expensive unit that offers better keystone/focus controls. As most users have commented, provided you understand the limits that this projector functions within, for the price, it is hard to beat.

Update: 4.5 stars. For way under a hundred bucks, this was a steal. Sure there are compromises. But projectors aren't about perfection. No projector can give you darker darks than the surface you're using, e.g. I get crisp images with great color in a room with a dimmed lamp on a plain white wall. Works well with an old Amazon Tap as bluetooth speaker. No real keystone adjustment though.

Original take: For throwing a 50-inch wide video image on a painted living room wall that isn't perfectly flat, this projector has been pretty good. Color, resolution, contrast and brightness are surprisingly good; the speaker is surprisingly loud. So, the basics exceeded my expectations. But keystone adjustment is a joke, at least if you don't want large areas of the screen out of focus. Materials and build are OK for the price. I wish there was a second HDMI port instead of the USB ports, and better magnification. An iris control would at least allow for more keystone adjustment and more forgiving focusing in situations where we don't need full brightness. Overall, though, for the price, really not bad.

I have noticed that when I focus the image to be crystal sharp in the center, the outer edge all around is blurry. This is not an issue when projecting a letterbox image as the black areas don't matter. However, an image that takes up the entire projection shows sharp in the center with a blurry edge. I can settle with letterbox movies, but can't rely on a overall crystal clear focus using this unit as a whole.

If this is a known issue and has been rectified, I would, yes, be interested in exchanging it. Otherwise, it is what it is.

UPDATE Nov 18, 2024 - I have received support and an amicable resolution has resulted. This review has received an upgrade in the review.

So I bought this Projector only cause of the price. I've have used it for movie nights outside and my ps5. The HD quality is only 1080p I believe. To be honest that's okay for me I'm not a big o tech guy who worries about HD quality or FPS. I enjoy it especially for the price I paid....Down side It is an out of date Projector the one I got does not have bluetooth so I can't hook my phone or speakers via bluetooth. It does have an headphone jack so you can plug speakers that way. The Projector does have speakers built in but not the best quality. For the average user who just wants a basic cheap Projector this product is for you, not for the hardcore tech guys.

It’s a pretty great little portable projector. Love how adjustable it is for angled walls. You have a vertical angle adjuster and a focus adjuster. Can use the little foot underneath to angle the entire projector upward but not a whole lot which is kind of a bummer but you get what you get for the price. The picture quality is surprisingly good for the price and the speakers are honestly impressive for something so small. Obviously it’s not perfect but gives out quite a bit of sound on its own (though I just connect a Bluetooth speaker). I’ve used this anywhere from 5 ft away from a wall/screen to about 16 ft away and it did not change the quality of the picture.
Obviously a little tough to see when there are. Bunch of lights on or if watching in daylight—as expected. Only thing I wish it had was larger adjustment for the little foot underneath and I wish it was centered since the foot is on the side slightly (I’m assuming for what was installed internally kept them from allowing a foot to be in the middle). This makes it a little tough because the screen ends up ever so slightly tilted. Nothing a little bottle cap or honestly even a piece of folded paper can’t fix though. Still worth the price on my opinion.

I was suggested this projector by a friend. It was on sale for $69.99 (with free shipping!) which is hard to beat. Setup is pretty straightforward. I love that it came with a remote and HDMI cable too. Image looks solid. It's not 4K but I knew it wouldn't be that in this price range. I initially tried to use my iPad with it via HDMI but my streaming services weren't working properly and when I tried to play a movie I would hear the audio but it would show a black screen on the projector. I checked the manual and it stated it would not work via iPad or iPhone for playing streaming content like this due to certain regulations. So instead I went to Walmart and bought a Roku stick for 30 bucks...and it's amazing!!! Legit, this thing combined with a Roku stick, for $100 bucks you've got a decent home theater. The built in speaker is alright. I will probably buy another speaker but in the meantime it's fine. I wish that it had built in leveling feet so you can adjust if you need to angle the projector down, but I just used some staples office paper on the back feet and it did the job. I recommended this projector as an affordable option for home entertainment!

This was purchased as my first projector and wanted a budget one for use outdoors. Bright enough to be used indoors during the day with good blinds or black out curtains. The built-in speakers are okay, a bit tinny as one would expect, but not loud enough for outdoors.

Used the bluetooth to connect to a speaker with no issue. I noticed a slight delay but my spouse did not.

I tried to connect the audio out to a powered speaker and noticed significant audio noise. The noise is loud enough that you can't use it to watch a film, you would have no quiet moments.

The headphone jack / audio out is truly for headphones or passive speakers. There's no audible noise when used with headphones or passive speakers. Only present with a powered / amplified speaker.

There is a reason why over 7000 review rate this product over 4.5! For the price you pay, this projector is a steal. I do not own a projector before, but this is our first and we are super happy the way it works. Picture quality, sharpness, portability and ease of use is just great.

    PROS:
    - Works with any HDMI port streaming device
    - Connects to bluetooth speakers for better sound.
    - Built in speakers do not disappoint at all.

    CONS:
    - A bit noisy and the sound could dwell into dialogue in a quiet scene.
    - Doesn’t get bright enough to watch during day with a completely shut blinds.
    - Build quality not great (expected for this price)

First, amazing customer service! After posting my updated review I was contacted by the manufacturer, and immediately, expediently, sent a replacement! Plugged it in, right back in business! Crisp clean picture, great color, bright, great sound!
    Previous review:
I really liked it until this! Sneeze looking noise on inside of screen!
Worked great for a few weeks, then one night, turned it on and saw all this cloudy noise, creating shadows on everything! I checked the lens, clean on the outside but then I shined a light inside (projector turned off) and could see it was on the inside! Also inside looked like it was wet, covered in slime, I don't know what happened but up until this weird situation I really enjoyed it. Couldn't find a way to contact mfr. Through Amazon. Tried the options Amazon gave me through the app and website.
Only ever cleaned the outside lens with eyeglass cleaning fabric.
Great color, reads mkv files off flash drive. Great improvement over previous projector in this price range( previous projectors sound went bad, but it did have two HDMI, this one only has 1)

This projector is a great bang for your buck. I got it on the lightning deal for $69 originally it’s $100+ it shipped really fast. I had a shelf delivered with the projector so that I could mount it on my wall in my room. My room is reasonably big, but thankfully the projector has a adjustable lens so no matter how far it is unless it’s very, very close usually the picture is clear and you can adjust it to focus. it is reasonably portable. The quality speaks for itself in this video. I give it a 10 out of 10 I’ve never had a 4K projector, but I’ve had a 1080P projector before and this one is better than the last one I had. Its easy to use move it from my bedroom to the living room. It just has two wires, the HDMI and the power cord. I wish that the receiver was portable for the phone to connect video that’s the only reason. I have left it on before all night and it performs great.

I bought the projector after looking at the reviews, and it was the top seller, I must say I'm not disappointed as the projector does what it's supposed to do.
Initially I faced some issues with the remote connectivity but after few days it worked fine .
Only issue I still face is that all sides or picture do not focus, if I to focus one side the other side goes out of focus , but that's how I believe projectors work and it's a common issue .
Sound quality is ok for a small room.
Overall a good budget friendly product.

This has been my daily screen for over a year and a half and it was fantastic for the entire year. I will say for longevity, I use this at least 2-3 hours a day with the upper limits being 6+. It has fantastic picture quality. Though I am getting the inevitable light leak a bit sooner than I'd hoped. In light scenes it's almost unnoticeable but as soon as it's dark on the projector over 50% is a ballooning blue hue ruining the darkness. Not enough to get rid of, but I am looking at their later models for replacement. If you're unsure about projectors, BUY THIS ONE. It's very easy to use. And it's mountable which is cool.

So what are your expectations on a $50 projector? What can you expect for that paltry amount of money? Well, your expectations should be low. And if they are properly low, you'll be blown away by what you get for $50 with this little projector. If you need something for the kids to use to connect their cartoons, or to connect via an HDMI to USB C able directly to your phone, then this thing is perfect. It's quiet, it has Bluetooth so you can cast the sound to a different device. It's a great little box for 50 bucks. The color is decent out of the box, and requires little adjustment. It's only a two-point keystone, but it's got a nice manual lever Atop The unit. Focus is awesome manual, and works fine. The trick to getting a nice image out of this thing it's making sure the unit is aimed at your screen as squarely as possible. You also don't want to be projecting this from very far away. I keep mine about 8 ft away from the wall and get a roughly 65 inch image. No, you aren't going to use this during the day either, but you shouldn't expect that.
